Dear GOL clients,

please allow us to inform you that the NEW GOL version was launched at the end of April 2012. A number of nice and useful features are available for you now. Please find a list of all new and exciting niceties below.

 

Corporate module

GOL in the Standard version offers a new module that enables agencies and dealers to set up a GOL Front-end to suit the needs of their corporate customers. List below shows the most important new features:

  • Search can be banned for non-registered users
  • New registrations via GOL FE can be prohibited
  • Customer profile can be configured as read-only
  • Galileo Client File ID and Private Fare Account code can be assigned to the profile

 

 

List of passengers and other new values in Customer profile

Each registered customer can newly save along with her/his own data also the details of the passengers who will be booked by this registered customer. Logged in customer can easily select the passengers and their details (such as name, surname, passport number, its validity and country of issue, nationality, date of birth or the number of loyalty program - Frequent Flyer) at the end of the booking process.

Improved list of reservations on the GOL FE

The redesigned list of reservations on the FE provides customers with clearer overview of the list of already reserved air tickets, hotels and insurance.

Actual list contains: booking number and type, destination, date of departure, names of the passengers, the last ticketing date and the date when the reservation was created. The status of the reservation is displayed as well and customer is able to display the detail of every reservation, even the cancelled ones.

The exclamation mark indicates the reservation with changes that were done subsequently. For example that the remark from agency was entered into the reservation.

Extension of the reservation detail on the GOL FE

Agency can add a remark to the reservation in GOL BO and this remark is displayed to the customer in the reservation detail on the GOL FE. Customer can find this remark in red at the top of the reservation detail.

Configuration of columns in the Air Ticket Cost table

This enhancement allows an agency to decide what columns will be displayed in the Air Ticket Cost table on the GOL FE. There is a new part of the Dealer settings in the GOL BO called "Layout of Air Ticket Cost table" where desired columns can be checked.

Pre-selected payment method on a GOL FE

Each dealer can newly decide if a payment method is always pre-filled at the GOL FE or if the customer is prompted to "Select payment method".

If the customer doesn't choose any payment method that is available and leaves "Select payment method" value in the method of payment box, GOL won't allow him/her to continue until the correct payment method is selected.

GOL pre-fills the payment method based on the BO settings by default, but if agency prefers to show "Select payment method" it can be done from the BO easily. Just uncheck the 'Pre-select payment method' check box.

Preferred food and seat on the GOL FE

Passengers can newly choose the preferred food, and their preferred seat (even if seating is not available) when booking tickets.

 

Multiple flight journeys and OpenJaw

This type of search is supported by all available design templates of the GOL FE now.

 

News in Back-Office (BO)

There is a new column called 'Date of the last reservation' added to the list of customers in the GOL BO. This information helps to quickly recognize the activity of each registered user.
